The idea of creating GeoChirp came about after realizing that a really simple to use map based tool for locating Tweeples within a specific geography, was not available. We feel that GeoChirp can be a very useful tool for people who know what they are looking for and it can also be innovatively used for marketing. The fact that you don’t need to register/login or even have a twitter account (it certainly helps to have one) is a bonus, increasing the reach of GeoChirp to any web user.
