Futuristic outlook, indomitable will, fiery instinct and a burning passion was all that Mr. Ramesh Chauhan had when he returned home at the age of 22 post graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Chauhan, the man behind the most popular Mineral water brand "Bisleri" was born on 17th June, 1940, to Mr. Jayantilal and Mrs. Jaya Chauhan at Purandhare hospital in Mumbai, India. RJC, as he is called by his friends, holds a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management.
Known for always being ahead of his time, at the age of 27, RJC took the bold step of introducing bottled mineral water to the Indian Market, at a time when buying it was unheard of. Parle Exports bought Bisleri from an Italian entrepreneur in the year 1969 and began to sell mineral water in India. With a career spanning of around 52 years, Mr. Chauhan's leadership and vision has made Bisleri a brand name synonymous with mineral water, a household name, and the leader in the industry. So naturally, "When you think mineral water, you think Bisleri".
Under RJC's able guidance and leadership, the company ventured into the Premium Natural Mineral Water segment, launching a brand Vedica. Vedica is bottled in the Himalayas, right at its source. Apart from Bisleri, RJC has created various super brands, such as ThumsUp, Gold Spot, Citra, Maaza and Limca. It was these brands that transformed every Indian into a soft drink consumer. Mr. Chauhan recreated the magic in 2016, by re-entering into the soft drinks segment, launching "Bisleri POP", a range of fun filled soft drinks in four exciting flavours —Spyci, Limonata, Fonzo and PinaColada.
One thing that Mr. Ramesh Chauhan has always been passionate about is Corporate Social Responsibility, rather, in his words Our Social Responsibility activities. It is his firm belief that each organization has a responsibility towards the social sector and lesser developed parts of their countries. Bisleri began rainwater harvesting on realizing rainwater being wasted into the sea and has built and restored 46 check dams across the South of Gujarat till 2016. The check dams alone harvest over 10 billion litres of water every year. Bisleri plants also have well planned rainwater harvesting systems that gives around 7 million litres of water a year.
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) recycling was introduced by Mr. Chauhan in the year 1995. This was done to keep the environment clean and it also became a source of extra income for the rag pickers. Bisleri's initiative has led to collect 600 tonnes of PET a year! Bisleri earned the Guiness World Record and Limca Book of Record, in the year 2015, for the highest amount of PET bottles collected in 8 hours. As a result of this initiative, Bisleri and the school students made a collection of 1.1 million plastic bottles.
Another of RJC's passions is Ozone Therapy, an inexpensive alternative to medical treatments. Ozone can be used as a preventive measure and also to cure various ailments such as cancer, knee osteoarthritis, sinusitis, etc. Germany has been using Ozone Therapy for over a hundred years. Bisleri has trained over 650 doctors in the country, and the Ozone Therapy has touched the lives of over 50,000 patients in India. An indispensable addition to the libraries of those involved with Indian business or with an inclination to learn of how Indian talent can compete with the best in the world, is his book THUNDER UNBOTTLED.
Mr. Chauhan has always been a role model and inspiration to people at Bisleri. All the employees thoroughly believe in one of his favorite quotes "You just have to do a good job, a better job than the others, and automatically you will rise above the rest and become the best."
Ms. Jayanti Chauhan , the daughter of Mr. Ramesh J Chauhan (Chairman, Bisleri International Pvt Ltd.) spent most of her childhood in Delhi.
Upon completing high school, Jayanti joined the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles to study Product Development, post which, she went on to pursue Fashion Styling at the Instituto Marangoni Milano. She also holds qualifications in Fashion Styling and Photography from the London College of Fashion. Ms. Chauhan has been an intern at various leading fashion houses and also holds a degree in Arabic from the SOAS, University of London.
JRC, as she is popularly known, embarked on her Bisleri journey at the age of 24, under the guidance of her father. She took charge of the Delhi office, where she started off at grass root level, and also took up the challenge of renovating the factory and bringing about automation of various processes. Ms. Chauhan has also restructured departments such as HR, Sales and marketing, so as to build stronger teams. She took charge of the Mumbai office in 2011. With the extensive global exposure and cross category experience, Jayanti brings in a fresh perspective to the business.
Not only is JRC working on New Product Development, but she is aggressively involved in streamlining the operations for Bisleri Mineral Water, Vedica Natural Mineral Water from the Himalayas (the Luxury Segment) and Bisleri Soda. She is driving innovation at Bisleri and ensures that each and every department functions to the maximum. Jayanti provides key insights in marketing and branding along with a keen interest in Digital Marketing and is closely involved in advertising and communication development at Bisleri.
She has been spearheading the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring both market penetration and building brand value. Along with actively participating in the internal communications of the organization, Ms. Chauhan has a keen interest in employee welfare and works closely with the HR team so as to retain good talent and make Bisleri a good place to work. JRC has been the driving force behind Bisleri’s new brand image, Bisleri’s market reach and its consistent profitable growth.

Angelo George is the CEO of Bisleri International. He joined Bisleri in June 2019. Angelo has over 3 decades of experience with leading companies in FMCG, Consumer Durables & Pharmaceutical industries.
He started his career with Boehringer - knoll, leaders in Cardiac & Diabetes research. Later Angelo worked with Hindustan Unilever in different capacities in Sales & Trade Marketing over 2 decades and contributed significantly in developing channel strategy for the organisation. He led projects to gather insights on shopper behaviour & channel potential and launched programs like ‘Vijeta’ and the ‘Super value store’. He was a recipient of the ‘Unilever CAME Innovations Award’ for his contributions.
He moved on as Head of Marketing & Sales at Parryware, India’s leading manufacturer of bathroom products. During this stint, a range of faucets were launched to leverage & complement company’s leadership in bathroom products.

After graduating from Madras Christian College, he completed his PGDM from Bangalore University and later did an Advanced Global Management Program from ISB Hyderabad & Kellogg School of Management, Chicago.
Ms. Anjana Ghosh is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Bisleri International Pvt Ltd.
After having worked in the steel industry for over 15 years, Ms. Ghosh joined Bisleri in June 2006 as Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing. Over the next three years, Ms. Ghosh grew with the brand to General Manager and to Director. In her current capacity as Director, she has been the driving force behind the new image and market reach of Bisleri and its consistent profitable growth year on year.
Ms. Ghosh was primarily responsible for bringing innovation to the brand and strategizing the engineering of Bisleri from Blue to Green. After the brand re-engineering the new and young image of vibrant Bisleri ensured that the company's sales zoomed ahead. The journey from Blue to Green saw a revolution of change in the perception and demand of the brand.
She is strategically and aggressively growing the brand by working on market penetration with a winning and prudent combination of backward and forward integration. Market penetration, revamping and restructuring of sales teams to increase bottling units is part of her winning plan. Her vision and foresight keeps Bisleri ahead of times and above all competitions. She has inculcated the never give up spirit in each of her team members which motivates them to take Bisleri to unprecedented growth.
Ms. Ghosh is a post graduate in Business Administration with a specialization in Projects & Planning from Mumbai University.
Mr. Rajender Kumar Garg is Director Technical and quality in Bisleri International Pvt Ltd. He has completed his education from Ghaziabad. He is post graduate in Commerce and having bachelor Degree in Law. He has a total work experience of 38 years, out of which he is associated with Parle group for 30 years. In Bisleri he invested his valuable 18 years learning and guiding us all. He is passionate about work and a keen learner. A Strong believer in Systems and use of technology and updating it with the time.
He is ambitious, has a positive attitude, committed, self -motivator and a solution seeker. He introduced a transparent, vibrant and performance-driven culture.
Under his leadership, Bisleri attained highest market share in Delhi, U.P., Haryana and Punjab.
He is instrumental in minimizing input cost substantially and creating 26 new co-packers, 1st Kombi machine of 300 BPM in Sonipat, 5 new franchisees, and upgradation of Bisleri Plants at Mumbai, Delhi, Sahibabad, Rudarpur and Jaipur.
Chơi bàiMr. Bengali holds the degree of Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is associated with Bisleri for over a decade. In his capacity as Director Finance and HR , he has been responsible for a wide range of programs involving business and fiscal affairs of the organization and has been heavily involved in the administration and presentation of fiscal and business issues to the company, vendors and distributors, Worker unions and individuals. More recently, he has been active in the organization’s revenue management, technology transfer efforts and new plant and machinery management.
Mr. Khan serves as Director of Corporate Affairs at Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. He joined Bisleri in 1987 as Manager –Sales and Operations. In a span of 5 years he grew to GM and to Director handling All India Sales and Operations. Later he was handed over the responsibility of Bisleri’s entire north zone business. During his 30 years tenure at Bisleri he has played key role in expanding Bisleri for what it is today by setting up plants at Jaipur, Noida, Sahibabad, Ludhiana, Baroda, Nasik, Calcutta, Coimbatore, Guntur, Bangalore and Goa.
In his current capacity as Director - Corporate Affairs, he has successfully built and has developed relationship at senior levels with key stakeholders including government, associations, NGOs etc. He effectively coordinates the government communications by guiding & supporting the internal team on various government affairs projects, liasoning etc. He is the lead contact point of Bisleri for government communications and other stakeholders.
Mr.Khan holds a Diploma in Automobile from ITI, New Delhi.
